Unplugging from the "Corporate Matrix" [COMING SOON]
Leaders in organisations work in a virtual reality - The Corporate Matrix.  In this virtual reality our organisations are standardised, controllable, predictable objects that we can move and change using tried and tested formula.  But what would happen if we were to unplug from the Corporate Matrix?  How would we experience our organisations as different?  What would we not be able to cope with?  And what new skills and resources would we find that would serve us well back in the Corporate Matrix? How can lessons from the world of improvisation help us better understand complexity and help us be more comfortable with ambiguity? This paper was submitted as the final piece of my MSc in Organisational Consulting and Change and forms the foundation of my interest in the subject.  I was awarded a distinction for this piece.
